When we first launched our immersion programs, we were acutely aware that the full-time commitment meant students could experience some difficulties in covering day to day expenses while focused completely on study. So we introduced our Living Stipend—a new way to support a tech education. The stipend provides students with $1,500 to cover living expenses like rent and groceries.

The initial pilot in Salt Lake City had a tremendous response— the two slots we offered received over 200 applications. The reaction led to an expansion of the trial in Atlanta and Portland, where it was also enthusiastically received.

Now, we’re on a mission to introduce our Living Stipend around the country, giving even more students the ability to enjoy the benefits.
