Michael Marcinek

Hello World, I am a developer who loves JavaScript in all flavors— Node, React, Angular, Vanilla JS, you name it, and a Ruby (on Rails) aficionado. I started programming 3 years ago, am a boot camp graduate, and was very thankful to work for UserIQ, an Atlanta based startup for the last 2 and 1/2 years. I am now looking forward to exploring new opportunities as a freelancer/contractor so that I can learn new skills and apply them to my love of technology and art (my other passion) .

Later I lead the team that designed and implemented the Audio Packet Tool- an application that generated and recorded 120 simultaneous encrypted conversations for system stress testing. Long live pair programming, code review and test driven development!

Dale Smith

Dale Smith

After a co-worker joined Apple's Siri team, Dale inherited a predictive model which was deployed as production but was still proof-of-concept. When it stopped working one morning, he had to edit, compile, and deploy a Java program, rewrite SQL statements, modify an R script, and modify a Powershell script. He then decided that everything would work much better if he used Python everywhere. Dale mentors in Data Science.

Frontend Web Development, Flexible Web Development Bootcamp

Lee is a self taught .net developer. When he was 8 years old he made a deal with his dad that in exchange for a Commodore 128 he would put just as much time into studying and programming in GW-Basic on it as he did playing games. After 5 years in the US Army and 15 years in Logistics Management he came to his senses and made the jump to development. He is currently a Senior Developer working mostly in .Net but he has experience with HTML5, JavaScript, ActionScript, jQuery, Visual Basic, C#, PHP, SQL Server, MySQL and also frontend design tools. When he doesn't have his geek hat on, he's buried deep in football or basketball.

Michael Dougherty

I've been programming in some form or another since age 13. I have been a freelancer for most of my professional life and have also worked at two startups as a full-stack developer. In my free time I have worked on several app ideas of my own, and I used to create video games for fun. My favorite language right now is PureScript but I specialize in Python and React. When I'm not programming, I'm probably either playing music (bass guitar), dancing, cooking, doing Taiji/Qigong, or just relaxing.
